It ain't business...it is totally personal!

I want to take a moment to thank each and every person who was in front of my camera in 2021.

You allowed me into the uncontrived intimate places in your life. Families reunited. Weddings. First children. First grandchildren. First headshots. Updated headshots. And special occasions of all kinds. You brought me into your work places, your homes and your places of worship.

I photographed you when you thought your hair looked horrible, or you woke up with a prominent new pimple. I took photos of you when you really didn’t want a photo, your employer made you do it! We shot on the days that it rained. We worked through a power outage. We moved inside that day that it rained 3 inches! We rescheduled when all the flights were cancelled. And the one time that I was sick, you all rescheduled for me, and I thank you!

We shared caterpillars and milkweed; Cheez Its and Chips Ahoy; Hotwheels and painted rocks. Future play dates were set. And new friends were made. 

I met your families, your in-laws, your exes, your kids, your step kids and their kids. I met your neighbors. I was kissed by your dogs, and most of your cats said hello. We met some spiders, some hamsters, and a mantis duo.

And hopefully in return, you left feeling a little better about life; more grateful and confident.

Your faces, your laughter, your tears, your friendship and the trust that you have for me is personal. From my family to yours, please accept our thanks and blessings for a wonderful, prosperous and healthy New Year!
